Overview

25 years after Law 62/2000, "Sustainable management of private schools" is the Executive Course designed for those who work in private schools and want to strengthen their strategic role in the national education system.

 

The course provides up-to-date skills and operational tools to effectively address the main critical issues in the management of a private school, enhancing its cultural and pedagogical role. It is aimed at figures with educational, administrative and management responsibilities, in particular:

  • School principals, educational coordinators, administrative and management managers of private schools.
  • Teachers with organizational positions or interested in developing management skills.
  • Other professionals who work within private schools.

To access the course, it is preferable to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline.

  • Dig deeper into funding opportunities.
  • Promote innovative school governance models.
  • It counteracts the risk of school segregation.
  • Develop charismatic and mindful leadership.
  • Foster collaboration between executive, managerial, and administrative figures.

Program

With a total duration of 54 hours, the course takes place in blended mode, with 2 face-to-face modules (at the Milan campus of Università Cattolica) and two online modules. The teaching includes theoretical and methodological insights, case analysis and expert interventions.

Thanks to a renewed formula, the course trains the managerial class of private schools, allowing them to develop strategic skills and the ability to transparently manage economic resources and people.

The course is organized in partnership with CESEN, the Center for Studies on Ecclesiastical Bodies and Other Non-profit Organizations, a research center of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan that integrates traditional research and training activities with consultancy and assistance activities for religious and third sector entities.  promoted in collaboration with the Italian Episcopal Conference, the Italian Conference of Major Superiors, the Union of Major Superiors of Italy and the National Union of Social Assistance Institutions and Initiatives.

Registration and Useful Info

The participation fee for the course is € 2,400 + VAT. To enrol:

  1. fill out the online registration form
  2. send the proof of payment of the enrolment fee by e-mail to altis.amministrazione@unicatt.it with the subject "Sustainable management of private schools".

Payment of the registration fee can be made by:

  • Bank transfer to: Banca Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., IBAN code: IT 07 W 03069 03390 211610000191 made out to Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, specifying the name of the participant and the title of the course in the reason for payment.
  • Credit card (VISA or Mastercard) at the same time as online registration.

If an adequate number of participants is not reached, the Management reserves the right to postpone or suspend the start of the Course. All participants will be promptly notified.

 


 

There are discounted registration fees, which cannot be combined and applicable only to the entire package:

  • € 2,160 + VAT for registrations completed by 30 June 2025;
  • € 2,280 + VAT for those who, at the time of registration, are enrolled in the premium services of the UCSC Alumni community;
  • € 2,040 + VAT for those who, at the time of registration, are registered in the ALTIS Alumni LinkedIn group;
  • € 1,920 + VAT (per member) for registrations from 2 to 5 people from the same institution;
  • € 1,800 + VAT for 6 or more members from the same institution (€ 600 discount on the fee of each of the 6 or more members).

It is possible to register for individual modules with a fee of € 800 + VAT for each module.

 


 

Financing through interprofessional funds

Funding can be obtained to support employee training through the Interprofessional Training Funds (schools use Fond.E.R.). For how to access the fund, it is advisable to contact your administration. Università Cattolica is accredited to all funds.

Any enrolment in Interprofessional Training Funds must be reported before the beginning of the course. 

Participants who have attended at least 75% of the course and passed the final evaluation will be issued the official Certificate of Participation of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Those who accrue 75% of the attendance and have successfully carried out the proposed exercises will also be awarded the Open Badge of skills of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
