Overview

The Executive Course The Legal Representative between leadership and managerial skills offers a unique training course to deepen in all its aspects the role, skills and competencies required of this managerial figure.

Educational , health and social care institutions of Christian inspiration are facing a complex scenario, marked by profound social and economic changes and numerous challenges.

In this context, the role and responsibility of the Legal Representative emerge in all their centrality with respect to the promotion of the cultural identity of the entity and its management, in particular towards the territorial administration and users.

The Course is aimed at the Legal Representatives of:

  • Private schools and managing bodies
  • Health and social care institutions
  • Other Catholic-inspired realities

Course Objectives

  • Economic and social horizon  and management challenges
  • Legal framework of the figure of the Legal Representative
  • Managerial skills and strategic reading of the regulatory and institutional context
  • Charismatic leadership and shared leadership
  • Vertical and horizontal relationship management 

Program

The previous edition took place on 3 and 4 October 2025, in presence, at the headquarters of the Catholic University of Milan, for a total of 11 hours of training.

Integrated teaching includes frontal interventions with theoretical and methodological insights, and laboratory teaching of guided discussion about the recurring challenges in the role. Participants will be provided with the slides used by the teachers in the classroom.

The course is organized in partnership with CESEN, the Center for Studies on Ecclesiastical Bodies and Other Non-profit Organizations, a research center of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan that integrates traditional research and training activities with consultancy and assistance activities for religious and third sector entities.  promoted in collaboration with the Italian Episcopal Conference, the Italian Conference of Major Superiors, the Union of Major Superiors of Italy and the National Union of Social Assistance Institutions and Initiatives.

The participation fee for the course is € 800 + VAT. To enrol:

Financing through interprofessional funds

Funding can be obtained to support employee training through Interprofessional Training Funds (e.g. Fond.E.R.). For how to access the fund, it is advisable to contact your administration. Università Cattolica is accredited to all funds.

Participants who have attended at least 75% of the course and passed the final evaluation will be issued the official Certificate of Participation of the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart.
Those who accrue 75% of the attendance and have successfully carried out the proposed exercises will also be awarded the Open Badge of skills of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
