The Master in Strategic Management for Global Business (SMGB) is a full-time international management path, entirely in English, designed to train professionals and future leaders capable of operating in multinational companies, consulting firms and global organizations.

The programme offers a strategic vision of business, an international approach and a transformative training experience, designed for those who wish to build a career in management and global business.

The Master's degree is open to candidates with an undergraduate degree (completed or to be completed by April 2027) in any subject area.

 

An excellent knowledge of the English language, written and spoken, is required , verifiable through:

  • TOEFL (≥ 80)
  • IELTS (≥ 6.0)
  • Equivalent certifications
  • Study/work experience in English-speaking countries
  • Verification during the interview

Program

The Master includes seven months of full-time classroom training and a Final project with the possibility of internship. There are also pre-courses and an optional Study tour:

  • Online Preparatory Courses: September-October 2026
  • In-class courses: 2 November 2026 – 5 June 2027
  • International study tour (optional): June 2027
  • Internship / Research paper / Business plan: June-October 2027

Applications can be submitted via the admission portal, attaching the following documentation. Applications will be evaluated in order of arrival and, if eligible, candidates will be invited for a motivational interview.

  • Copy of degree certificate
    In the case of a degree not yet obtained: self-certification of the examinations taken; Accepted in English, Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish. For Italian students, only self-certification can be accepted. Download the form
  • A letter of reference. The letter should be completed by a university professor or current/recent employer who knows the candidate well, and it should contain specific and relevant details about the candidate's skills and performance. The letter can be sent by e-mail (scanned) but must be written on the letterhead of the company or institute, must be signed by hand and must include the contact details of the contact person (post and direct telephone). The letter can be in English or Italian.
  • Identity card and tax code
  • CV in English
  • Passport-sized photo 
  • Cover letter
  • English proficiency certificate (if available)
  • Other documents: Any additional documents to better qualify the candidate's profile can be added to the application (GMAT, GRE, Master's certificates or additional courses etc.).

To obtain the Master's certificate,  it is necessary to obtain the undergraduate degree by the April 2027 session.

The registration fee for the Master is € 12,000, to be paid in four installments.  The first instalment of €3,000 is required at the time of enrolment.

 

The concessions cannot be combined and apply upon completion of the Master's enrolment process, only to local candidates.

  • Early bird: reduced fee to € 10,800 for those who register by 22 June 2026
  • UCSC Alumni: reduced fee to €11,400 for Alumni enrolled in the premium services of the UCSC Alumni Community
  • ALTIS Alumni: reduced fee to € 10,200 for ALTIS Alumni already registered in the LinkedIn group at the time of enrolment
  • For the following categories, fee of €10,200:
    • Employees and children of employees of ALTIS' strategic partners.

Tuition fee deductions

Pursuant to the Ministerial Decree of 23 December 2021, tuition fees are deductible at 19% up to a maximum of € 3,900. The deduction is valid upon presentation of the payment receipts.

If you are a VAT-registered worker, you can deduct from your income the cost of attending the master's degree up to a maximum of €10,000, including travel and accommodation expenses.

ALTIS | 1 scholarship of € 3,000, to partially cover the registration fee. Selected candidates will be able to be involved by teachers and program representatives in activities to support the technical and relational dynamics of the classroom and will have the opportunity to participate with greater involvement in the planning of teaching activities.

Scholarship Application Deadline: September 23, 2026

 

Scholarships are assimilated to income from employment and as such are subject to taxation. They are therefore to be considered gross of any withholding taxes.

Following admission, candidates will be notified by email and through the admission portal.
Admitted candidates, within 5 days of communication , must upload the payment data of the first instalment and the documents requested in the admission email through the admission portal.

Undergraduate candidates or candidates with a foreign university qualification must complete the pre-enrolment application through the admission portal: once the degree or the Declaration of Value/Diploma Supplement* are considered adequate by the Master's Secretariat, the candidate can proceed with enrolment.

 

* Candidates with a foreign degree must request the Declaration of Value at the Consular Offices of the country where the degree was obtained. If the degree was obtained in an EU country, candidates can apply for the Diploma Supplement directly from their home university; if the degree has been conferred by a faculty approved by the Holy See, it will be necessary to request authentication by the Holy See and subsequent legalization. Please note that the document must be delivered to the Master's Office in the original paper version. (For more information go to the FAQ).

 

The maximum number of admitted participants is set at 40.
The Management reserves the right to increase this number or, in the event of an insufficient number of applications, not to activate the Master's course.
