Why choose us

The protagonists

Research at ALTIS is enhanced by the training and consultancy activities that team members carry out in:

  • ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, dedicated to the dissemination of a culture and good practices of entrepreneurship and management for sustainable development.
  • ALTIS Advisory SB, an ALTIS spin-off established in 2022, which accompanies economic actors in sustainable transition processes.
  • E4Impact Foundation: an ALTIS spin-off established in 2015, with the contribution of leading Italian companies, intended for the training and coaching of high-impact entrepreneurs in Africa, launched by the Graduate School in its first years of activity.

Our scientific approach

For over twenty years we have been developing knowledge in the field of corporate sustainability and impact entrepreneurship, combining academic rigor with an applied approach, at the service of companies and institutions. Our experience has also led us to develop a deep expertise in supporting the African entrepreneurial ecosystem, where we have been operating steadily since 2010.

We believe that scientific research is a fundamental tool for observing, understanding and interpreting complex phenomena, exploring new areas of knowledge and opening perspectives on frontier issues.

Our activity is divided into two directions:

  • basic research, oriented towards the creation of interpretative models and the production of generalizable results useful for the international academic debate;
  • applied research, which puts knowledge at the service of concrete needs, offering practical and customised solutions to integrate sustainability into the strategies, governance and daily operations of companies and organisations.

The added value of research

Research represents a considerable added value for the participants in our training courses, who benefit from access to the most innovative theories and examples of concrete application offered by the projects developed by our researchers.

By combining a global vision and attention to the context, we generate impact through knowledge.
