Edward Elgar recently published The Elgar Companion to Social Innovation and the Sustainable Development Goals, edited by David C. Littlewood, Irene Garnelo-Gomez, Laurel Steinfield and Giacomo Ciambotti, ALTIS researcher.
The Companion offers a critical and in-depth reading of the role of social innovation as a lever for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the basis of the UN 2030 Agenda. Through contributions ranging from different geographies, methodologies and theoretical perspectives, the volume analyzes the phenomenon at several levels, involving a plurality of actors: non-profit organizations, traditional companies – from multinationals to SMEs – and social entrepreneurs.
In addition to his role as co-editor of the volume, Giacomo Ciambotti has also contributed as an author, together with other ALTIS researchers, to the creation of three chapters:
