WEBINAR 05 May 2022

Catholic entities, investments and values. From theory to practice

Presentation of the research "Value and Values" by Anima on the investment choices of religious entities in the light of the CEI Guidelines. Event in partnership with Anima e Nummus.info

In the wake of Pope Francis' encyclical Laudato sii , the Church has accelerated its path of reflection on the ethics of its financial instruments and on the ways in which goods and resources are managed. In particular, the Guidelines of the Italian Bishops' Conference have established principles and tools that allow Dioceses, Archdioceses, Foundations and Religious Institutes to identify financial products consistent with their values that respect ESG factors.

But to what extent are these guidelines known and how do they direct management choices? How have they influenced the investment choices of religious entities? During the webinar, the results of the "Value and Values" survey , conducted by Anima SGR, on how Italian religious entities are applying the CEI Guidelines will be presented.

Finally, the event aims to introduce the topics that will be covered during the new edition of the Executive Course "Finance and integral ecology. The sustainable management of ecclesiastical and religious movable assets", starting on 30 September 2022.
