ALTIS' twentieth anniversary, celebrated on 27 October 2025 with the "Winds of Change" event, in the Aula Magna of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, was an important milestone. The appointment certainly represented a moment of celebration but, above all, a way to reaffirm the mission that has always distinguished the Graduate School.

This was recalled by Rector Elena Beccalli in the message sent for the ceremony: "ALTIS is a well-established and recognised reality in the academic and professional landscape, with a solid reputation also due to the foresight of having placed the issue of sustainability at the centre of its teaching and research activities. Included in the University's Graduate Schools system, it represents a reference point for training and academic research on sustainable management and responsible entrepreneurship. There are now numerous successful initiatives carried out in these two decades, combining quality teaching, scientific research and particular attention to the social impact determined by the various activities promoted".

In the message addressed to the director, Matteo Pedrini, the Rector takes the opportunity to "thank the Directors who preceded you, Prof. Mario Molteni and Prof. Vito Moramarco, and all the staff of researchers, staff and external professionals who, in various ways, have contributed to the growth and consolidation of ALTIS".

"We are well aware of the social challenges that await us. I believe that addressing them - as ALTIS does - by promoting sustainable and responsible visions and actions is the most appropriate path and in line with the University's guidelines. I am therefore very pleased with this milestone and, at the same time, I am sure that you can continue your activities with renewed impetus to write new pages in the history we are celebrating today," concluded the Rector.
