There is a moment in the path of the Master in Sustainable Business Administration – MSBA when sustainability stops being a concept and becomes something that can be observed, discussed and tried to solve.
This is what happens, in particular, during the Sector Focuses that ALTIS organizes in collaboration with the partner companies of the Master's Degree that prepares tomorrow's managers for the integration of sustainability into business.
And this is what happened in one of the most intense experiences of the 2025 edition of MSBA, held at Maire, the company at the head of an engineering group that develops and implements innovative technologies to support the energy transition.
The students spent the whole morning in the company, listening to those who work every day on issues such as decarbonization, circularity, workers' well-being, biodiversity. The class saw up close how a strategy takes shape within projects, how to manage the complexity of a large construction site, how to build a plan that has a scientific basis and measurable impacts.
In the second part of the morning, the students worked in groups on three concrete cases, proposing solutions and presenting their ideas. A useful opportunity to apply what has been learned and, for the company, to make future managers understand how to think, collaborate and communicate in a professional context.
Experiences like this are the heart of the Master, which becomes a privileged opportunity for the company to create employer branding. In the sector focuses, your company co-organizes cycles of lectures together with the professors of the Masters, in the classroom or on site, involving students in its business best practice.
