CUSTOM TRAINING 11 July 2025

The future of shopping centers is "formed" here

Now in its third edition, the course promoted by ALTIS and ALMED and carried out with the National Council of Shopping Centers is hitting the target of preparing retail managers for change and sustainable development

The executive course for shopping center managers, conceived by ALTIS and ALMED in collaboration with the National Council of Shopping Centers - CNCC, has been offering managers and professionals an innovative and increasingly strategic training course for three years. Three stages of growth in which participants are confronted with the organizational, technological and managerial changes that are transforming the retail sector and the role of the shopping center manager itself.

An example of how ALTIS' know-how can be made available to the training needs of a sector, in this case retail, in a path built together with the economic players themselves, combining academic rigor, field experience and professional networkingThe first edition, in 2023, focused precisely on the new skills required of the Shopping Center Director, including the ability to understand customer needs, leverage digital channels, and manage the complexity of the post-pandemic environment.

The second edition, "The figure of the Shopping Center Director: skills and new challenges in retail" expanded the audience to include junior figures and undergraduates interested in pursuing a career in the sector. Divided into four modules between face-to-face and online, the training alternated theoretical lessons with testimonies from professionals and managers from the CNCC and the Association of Shopping Center Directors (ADCC), as well as the launch of case histories useful for lowering concepts into operational reality. The final day was dedicated to the sharing of projects by the participants and the delivery of certificates of participation, testifying to the growth path and networking developed during the course.

The 2025 edition (in the photo another moment this year) is characterized by an even more marked focus on the strategic and organizational changes that are redefining the role of the Shopping Center Manager. The training modules include interventions by experts who offer a concrete vision of the challenges of the present and the future. The course is thus confirmed as a unique opportunity to acquire up-to-date tools, discuss with colleagues and managers in the sector and reflect on the evolution of Shopping Centers in a constantly changing scenario.
