UNI partners with ALTIS to train sustainability professionals

Through their longstanding partnership, ALTIS and UNI offer Professione Sostenibilità participants access to technical standards, 40 hours of training that can count toward professional certification requirements, and other exclusive benefits.

ALTIS UNI partnership

For more than 20 years, ALTIS has worked with UNI - Ente Italiano Normazione, to support the training and professional development of sustainability managers. Participants in ALTIS programs can strengthen their expertise by gaining a deeper understanding of the standards and technical frameworks that guide sustainability practices.

The Professione Sostenibilità Executive Course is officially endorsed by UNI. The partnership also recognizes the role played by the program and its professional community in shaping the UNI/PdR 109.1:2021 Reference Practice, which defines the knowledge, skills, responsibilities and level of autonomy required of Sustainability Managers and Sustainability Practitioners.

As part of the partnership, participants receive six months of access to UNI’s complete online catalog of standards for consultation. They can also download one standard of their choice. This provides a valuable opportunity to explore the technical and regulatory frameworks that increasingly influence ESG practices, sustainability reporting, corporate governance and sustainability management processes.

The course is aligned with the requirements set out in UNI/PdR 109.1:2021. Its 40 hours of training can also count toward the requirements for admission to the certification process for Sustainability Managers and Sustainability Practitioners, subject to the conditions established by the relevant certification bodies.

The collaboration with UNI strengthens the course’s focus on technical standards and standardization, while ensuring that its content continues to reflect the evolving skills required of professionals working in sustainability-related roles.
