MBAs in Africa with E4Impact

ALTIS Graduate School of Sustainable Management has a strong presence in Africa with a broad portfolio of MBAs aimed at local entrepreneurs, coordinated by the E4Impact Foundation.

The MBAs are active in more than 20 African countries, delivered in collaboration with local universities and recognised through a double degree awarded by both the partner university and the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.

These programmes train impact entrepreneurs capable of starting and developing sustainable businesses, contributing to the social and economic development of the countries in which they operate.

The practical and action-oriented teaching approach guides participants in the development of their business plan and accompanies them on a path of personal and professional growth, enriched by exchange with African and international academics, experts and investors.

Who is E4Impact?

The E4Impact Foundation aims to promote sustainable entrepreneurship in low- and middle-income countries.

It was founded on the initiative of Professor Mario Molteni, now CEO of the Foundation, President of the Africa Plan of Università Cattolica and involved with ALTIS since its early days, and is currently chaired by Letizia Moratti.

Over the years, E4Impact has become one of the most established organisations African continent for the training of impact entrepreneurs and for the creation of partnerships with local and international companies, institutions and organisations.

A story that began in 2005

ALTIS' commitment to Africa began in 2005, with the "Master in Management for Development" in Castel Gandolfo, dedicated to young African entrepreneurs. Since then, the mission has always been clear: to train entrepreneurs capable of generating local development through sustainable businesses.

Years later, we decided to bring our experience directly to the countries of sub-Saharan Africa. In 2010, in Kenya, we launched the first Master in Social Entrepreneurship and Management, in collaboration with Tangaza University College in Nairobi

Inspired by our Italian programme for SME entrepreneurs and international competitions, the programme adopts the formula of the "Business Idea Competition".
