Gender equality: here are the focuses to really change

Event organized by ALTIS Università Cattolica and Bureau Veritas Italia on the topic of gender equality and how to bridge the gender gap in the world of work.

Almost a year after the entry into force in Italy of the Gender Equality certification, it is time to take stock. From the work of collecting indicators carried out by Bureau Veritas auditors, the idea of research was born , which would make it possible to grasp the statistical significance of some phenomena and processes that are decisive for bridging the gender gap. On the occasion of the event, ALTIS Università Cattolica presents a preview of the survey on these issues that will be published at the end of the year.

From shared parenthood to the pay gap, from welfare to the presence of women in positions of responsibility: these are the "hot" points on which Italian companies are called to act, breaking down ancient legacies, stereotypes and "glass ceilings."

The conference will be attended by representatives of the Department for Equal Opportunities and UNI, as well as experts in the sector. The themes of the day will be explored in depth during some Round Tables in which speakers from large companies such as Amazon, Autostrade per l'Italia, Bologna Airport, Chiesi Farmaceutici will participate .
