ALTIS returns to Salone del Risparmio, Italy's leading event for the asset management industry, promoted by Assogestioni, with a session focused on the role of responsible investment in supporting business growth, resilience, and innovation.
As a participant for the fourth consecutive year, ALTIS joins the 2026 edition of the event, which is dedicated to the theme "Savings in Motion" and explores how capital can be mobilized to accelerate economic growth. As part of the programme, ALTIS will host the conference "Sustainable Private Equity as a Lever for Growth Acceleration", taking place on 5 May 2026, from 12:30 PM to 1:15 PM, at Allianz MiCo (Milano Congressi) – Educational Corner.
The discussion will address a challenging economic environment shaped by geopolitical instability, market volatility, and increasingly limited access to credit. In this context, private equity continues to prove a strategic tool for supporting the growth of privately held companies, combining patient capital with managerial expertise. Particular attention will be given to the role of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) criteria, which are becoming increasingly central to investment decision-making. The integration of ESG factors enables investors to assess companies more comprehensively, strengthening their ability to identify resilient businesses capable of creating sustainable long-term value. Drawing on the perspectives of academics and industry experts, the session will explore the contribution of private equity in a rapidly evolving economic landscape and examine how sustainability is reshaping investment strategies and value creation.
