On 24 March 2026 , Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore – Brescia Campus will host Ecoforum – Circular Economy, the annual event promoted by Legambiente Lombardia dedicated to the discussion of environmental policies, innovation and sustainable development models.
Now in its ninth edition in Lombardy, the initiative will be dedicated to the theme "Scenarios and strategies between geopolitical difficulties and environmental sustainability towards the 2030 goals", with the aim of analyzing the challenges and opportunities related to the transition to a circular economy, in an international context characterized by profound transformations.
The day will bring together institutions, companies, associations and the world of research to discuss strategies and tools useful for accelerating innovation processes in territories and production chains. The 2026 edition takes place at the Brescia campus of Università Cattolica thanks to the partnership with ASA - Alta Scuola per l'Ambiente and ALTIS.
Among the speakers, there will be Laura Maria Ferri, Associate Professor of Business Administration at the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, who will speak in the Circular Talk dedicated to scenarios and strategies for the Lombard circular economy. The panel will also see the participation of Giorgio Maione, Councillor for the Environment and Climate of the Lombardy Region, Giovanna Marinoni Martin, Vice President of Safety, Transition and Europe of Confindustria Brescia, and Stefano Ciafani, President of Legambiente. The meeting will be moderated by Emanuele Bompan, director of Renewable Matter.
The event will be held at 9.30 a.m. at the Mompiano Campus of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore (Via della Garzetta 48, Brescia).
