ALTIS can count on a team of researchers and operators that can plan, organize, launch and maintain extensive permanent projects and observatories.
As far as the CSR theme is concerned, various initiatives have been developed, aimed at building networking and matching opportunities between the private, public and non profit sectors, and at monitoring and promoting the CSR culture both towards the Italian entrepreneurial world and at an international level.
In particular:
Thanks to its intensive research programs, the development of projects and observatories the ALTIS Team has produced, since 2005, more than 70 publications, among which books, national and international articles, working papers, booklets etc, especially in the area of CSR and Sustainability, Non Profit and Social Entrepreneurship, SMEs and Industrial Districts, Finance and Development.
The wider and wider acknowledgment of ALTIS as excellence centre for the themes of CSR, sustainable finance and Non Profit has turned the School to a natural reference point, co-organizer promoter or first row protagonist of events, forums, workshops and seminars on these themes, often organized in partnership with primary market players, institutions and addressed both to a targeted and a general audience.
Both as a promoter and as a official partner among international networks, ALTIS has recently organized different awards targeted at the entrepreneurial context. In particular:
Global Social Venture Competition
The international competition, conceived to give value and visibility to innovative and social responsible business initiatives, selects Social Ventures, ie, profit and non profit financially sustainable activities. ALTIS is the Italian Chapter of GSVC and takes care both of the domestic promotion of the Competition and of the selection of the best Italian business plans, that will compete at an international level, until the final selection in California in April 2009.
